    New place my son told me about for xiao long bao. Menu was more limited than some of the others but a good enough selection. Pork XLB was good. Cucumber salad was very good. Noodles were ok. Banana nan was ok - needs more bananas inside. Good enough to come back to! Ambiance is small and quaint. Service was great. Fast and friendly.

    I love dumplings and was so excited to try Dough Zone. My son picked up our order and everything was well packaged and still warm by the time he got home. We ordered variety of noodles and dumplings and everything was delicious! The dumplings had thin delicate skins that held flavorful juicy fillings. Some favorite items were steamed beef dumplings, spicy beef pancake roll, pork wontons in chili oil, beef stew noodle soup and Zha Jiang mien. The noodle dishes are done well with the noodles still firm. Everything was so good and I can't wait to visit in person. I think everything would be even better fresh!

    Met up with black badge Harvey for lunch at Dough Zone in downtown Walnut Creek. The Dough Zone is a XLB, dumpling, noodle restaurant. Located on Locust St. the restaurant has lots of indoor seating and open kitchen. We ordered the following items: XLB pork 4 stars XLB crab 3.5 stars Spicy braised beef shank 5 stars Zha Zhang Mein 4.5 stars small portions Steamed Chinese okra dumplings 5 stars Green onion pancakes 4 stars Pan fried beef turnovers 3.5 stars Service was good only a few tables occupied. Plenty of parking in the parking structure right next door.
